Privacy Policy

The short version

Goal Motivator collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours anywhere. The app never makes a network request. Everything you create stays on your device and is gone when you delete the app.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Goal Motivator mobile app for iOS and Android, published by Mojuko ("we", "us"). It does not cover any other app or website.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell or share any personal information. Specifically, the app does not collect:

• your name, email address, phone number or any other contact detail
• account credentials — there are no accounts
• device identifiers, advertising IDs or IP addresses
• location data of any kind
• usage analytics, event tracking or crash reports
• contacts, photos, calendar entries or health data

There is no advertising in the app and no third-party advertising or analytics software inside it.

Information stored on your device

So the app can remember what you're doing, it saves the following in your device's standard app-preferences storage. This data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is not backed up to any service we operate:

• Your preferences — chosen topics, card palette, light/dark setting, reminder times, and the optional first name you may enter, which is used only to personalise text inside the app.
• Your goals — the goal names you type, their topics, and the dates you checked in, which is what streaks are calculated from.
• Your saved quotes — the identifiers of quotes you've hearted.
• A random number generated on first launch — used only to vary the order quotes appear in, so two people don't see an identical sequence. It is not an identifier, is never transmitted, and is not linked to you.
• The date you last opened the app — used to work out which quote is today's.

Network use

The app makes no network requests. All 410 quotes are bundled inside the app itself, which is why it works in flight mode and with no connection at all. There is no backend, no API and no remote configuration.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally by your device's own operating system. No push notification service is involved and no message passes through any server. The quote text in a reminder is written by the app onto your device in advance. Turning notifications off in your system settings stops them entirely.

Sharing a quote card

When you share a quote card, the app renders an image on your device and passes it to your operating system's share sheet. What happens next is governed by whichever app you choose to send it to and by that app's own privacy policy — we have no involvement in or visibility of it.

If you tap Save Image, your device asks for permission to add to your photo library. That permission is used solely to save the card you just created. The app does not read your photo library.

Children

Goal Motivator is suitable for a general audience. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children — including children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable age).

Third-party components

The app is built with Flutter and uses a small number of open-source packages: shared_preferences (local storage), flutter_local_notifications and timezone (scheduling reminders), share_plus (the system share sheet), and path_provider (a temporary folder for the rendered share image). None of them transmit your data anywhere, and none are analytics or advertising software.

Your rights and your data

Under the GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws, rights such as access, correction, portability, erasure and objection apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none — there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete, and nothing to sell or share.

You remain in full control of what is on your device. Settings → Reset everything permanently clears your goals, streaks, saved quotes and preferences. Deleting the app removes all of it as well.

Data breaches

Because nothing is transmitted or stored outside your device, there is no database of ours that could be breached.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if an optional cloud backup or a paid subscription were added — this page will be updated and the effective date above changed before the new version ships. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
